We are working with our client - an established, hugely successful and growing organisation in the charity sector - to recruit a Treasury Manager.

In addition to the day to day cash management within the organisation, this role will play a key role in their ongoing mission to modernise their finance and operations functions by reviewing and improving the processes around cash management.

You will be responsible for the organisation's bank accounts, for cash accounting, forecasting cash needs, supporting the fundraising team, liaising with the bank, assisting colleagues and auditors, and for ad hoc payments.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a treasury / cash management background to make a tangible difference to this values driven organisation, working with the full support of a committed Leadership Team.   It is anticipated that modernisation of the cash function is a two-year project and therefore this role is being offered on a fixed term contract basis.   During peak periods of change, you will be able to request, appoint and manage an assistant.

About you:

  • You have 6 or more years experience in treasury / cash management and sales ledger or purchase ledger functions in best-practice medium - or large-sized organisation.    You know what good looks like.
  • If you have a banking background, it would be a distinct advantage.
  • Your experience has included playing a key role in significant process improvement.
  • You are able to combine the management of change with the day to day responsibilities.
  • Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail enable you to solve problems in a proactive manner.
  • You thrive in fast-paced/deadline-oriented environment.
  • Your stakeholder management and communication skills mean that you are able to build supportive, trusting and effective relationships and you are able to lead collaboratively.

This is a chance to undertake a key role in moving this supportive and values-driven organisation forward whilst working in a flexible way.

Flexibility: Full-time (36.25 hours per week)   Hybrid with minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
Location: North London
Salary: £50k - £55k
