Our client is an established successful global business.    They are recruiting a Senior Tax Manager to lead the timely and accurate delivery of tax reporting and compliance for all UK parent and subsidiary companies.

 

Working closely with the Head of Tax and as part of a collaborative and committed team, you will play a partnering and advisory role across group companies and will liaise with external advisors as required.   You will also play a key role in the ongoing development of the function with the aim of creating a best-in-class international tax function.

Reporting to the Head of Tax responsibilities will include:

  • Leading corporate tax compliance for all UK parent and subsidiary companies.   This includes preparation of corporation tax returns, managing payments on account, liaising with HMRC, working with the Tax Manager to prepare Controlled Foreign Company review.
  • Leading Group tax reporting, including tax input into budgets, forecasts and year end reporting, preparation of disclosure for statutory reporting.
  • Providing guidance to finance and business partners and developing a best-in-class approach.
  • Assisting with the provision of corporate tax advice to the commercial team.
  • Preparation of lender reporting.
  • Assisting the Head of Tax with liaison with statutory auditors at interim and year end.
  • Preparing reports and studies for management attention with regard to UK and Group Tax.

 

About you:

  • You have relevant tax experience and relevant post graduate qualifications.
  • You can demonstrate the ability to work across multiple companies and customers.
  • Your interpersonal skills enable you to build strong business relationships – with the wider finance team and across the business.
  • You have relevant tax reporting experience.
