We are delighted to be working exclusively once again with this well respected professional body/membership organisation. Building on their existing values and practice, they are looking to hire a People Director into the business to take over and continue to lead the established HR function.
As a member of the Executive Team and reporting to the CEO, the People Director has responsibility strategically for the People Plan as part of the overall Business Plan across the organisation and operationally to ensure the day-to-day HR functions run smoothly and efficiently. The People Director line-manages an HR Adviser, and oversees the Graduate Programme, as well as being part of the Executive Leadership Team.
This is a full generalist role with a real focus on people and culture as well as the complete cycle of the HR function.
Skills & Industry Expertise:
The ideal role holder will be:
• Experienced working in senior People/HR roles and will have demonstrable People/HR generalist, leadership and people management skills.
• An excellent communicator, with the ability to influence and engage with employees at all levels.
• Hands on and able to operate effectively in a small team demonstrating organisation and planning skills to deliver on various strategic and as well as operational objectives, and switch between the two.
• A trusted and pro-active team player and leader, supporting team colleagues at Executive level in driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• Able to demonstrate integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
• Able to demonstrate tenacity and resilience in dealing with fast paced, challenging situations, remaining motivated and committed to delivering optimum results.
• Experienced with organisational change and transformation projects.
• Able to demonstrate a range of IT skills: experience of HR Systems, MS Office, CRM.
• Minimum of MCIPD qualified or have relevant demonstrable similar level experience.
Whilst some office presence is required, particularly on commencement, this organisation is digitally set up for remote working and operates a remote and hybrid working policy.

Salary: Up to £100,000 FTE with benefits
