They are recruiting an In-House Legal Counsel to support across the business on the full range of legal matters.    This is a standalone role that is at the heart of the business and therefore requires a generalist lawyer with a commercial mindset and a pragmatic and proactive approach.

  • Data protection and GDPR compliance.
  • Management of company policies.
  • Company Secretarial duties.
  • HR employment law advice.
  • Keeping across changes in key regulatory legislation that affects the business and delivering training to the business as required.
  • Offering advice and support on wider commercial issues where required.

About you:

  • You are a qualified solicitor, ideally with experience in commercial and contract law.
  • Ideally you will have experience of an in-house role.
  • You are able to provide sound, practical commercial advice and communicate this to non-legal professionals.
  • You have experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Your organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills are excellent.

This is a truly flexible role and you would be joining an organisation that has inclusivity and flexibility at it's core.
