As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the marketing strategy to achieve  ambitious growth targets. Working hand in hand with the sales team, you will focus on acquiring new customers, delivering lead and pipeline growth targets and increasing brand awareness with this new HR Tech category. Acting as a player-coach, you be hands-on in the detail, programme managing all aspects of marketing delivery while will building and leading a high performing team. You will report directly to the CEO and will work closely with the leadership team to drive growth and achieve our strategic goals.

As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a marketing strategy and demand generation campaigns that drive new customer acquisition, pipeline growth and increases brand awareness
  • Building a thought-leadership, content-led “machine” that accelerates lead generation and helps build our position as market leader 
  • Designing and managing sales enablement to increase sales velocity, conversion ratios and enable the sales team to close more deals
  • Designing and optimizing nurture and customer engagement programs to support lead generation, customer retention and upsell
  • Managing and optimizing the marketing budget and tech stack to achieve growth targets and process efficiencies
  • Defining and measuring key metrics to track progress against goals and make data-driven decisions
  • Building and leading a high-performing marketing team that can execute on our strategy and growth plans
  • Work closely with the CEO and leadership to develop and execute on the overall company strategy

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of:

  • Designing and executing B2B marketing strategies to the Enterprise market (experience in a new and emerging category is a plus)
  • Building and accelerating pipeline growth alongside increasing brand awareness, especially in a start-up/scale up organisation 
  • Building successful high-quality thought leadership-led demand generation content “machine”
  • Building multi-media sales enablement resources to support sales velocity, conversion ratios and enable the sales team to close more deals
  • Building and optimizing the tech stack to achieve growth targets and process efficiencies
  • Building and leading a high-performing marketing team to achieve growth targets
  • Being ‘hands on’ delivering at the coalface, whilst improving and managing a team 

You will also have:

•    A natural ability to craft compelling messaging and product positioning (doing it yourself or guiding others)
•    Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and comfortable delivering presentations at a senior level 
•    A result-driven, data-driven approach to how you manage and make decisions 
•    Great project management skills and high attention to detail - someone who is great at keeping projects and all those involved on track
