Our client, a privately owned Investment Company, is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to handle the day-to-day financial management of the business on a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave. The contract will run from November 2023 – December 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dedicated team and make a valuable contribution at an exciting time for the business as they expand into new, growing markets.
Reporting into the Finance Director, responsibilities will include:
- General accounting responsibilities including bookkeeping, banking, payroll etc.
- Finance administration
- Assisting with annual audit and tax reporting
About you:
- You are ideally a qualified accountant although QBE will be considered.
- It is essential that you have experience of using Sage (ideally Sage 200)
- You are a self-starter who is happy dealing with the transactional elements of the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in small, close-knit team in a genuinely flexible working environment.
Flexibility: 3 days per week
Location: Central London (Waterloo)
