An international commodities company has a requirement for a Finance Manager to commence work immediately. A qualified Accountant or a Senior Bookkeeper 'qualified by experience', the Finance Manager is a key role and the lead finance professional within the organisation.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Managing company financial accounts
- Financial reporting to management
- Production of management accounts, reports and statutory accounts
- Monitoring and managing cashflow
- Liaising with banks, auditors and other external stakeholders
- Managing foreign exchange transactions
- Carrying out financial reviews
- Budgets and forecasts
- Credit control
- Reviewing and signing contracts
- Authorising shipping and logistics
- VAT returns
- Monitoring and interpreting financial regulations and legislation
- Overseeing the Finance Administrator
- Carrying out internal audits
- Using automated and manual accounting systems
About you:
- Qualified Accountant or QBE
- 5 years'+ Financial control experience
- Experience of working within international trade, logistics, import/export sector
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Accounting software experience
- Knowledge of Incoterms
- A foreign language is desirable
This role is a wonderful opportunity for maybe a Senior Bookkeeper to step up into their first Finance Manager role, or would equally suit a seasoned Finance Manager who is keen to continue working within the logistics/international trade sector.
Flexibility: 4 days in the office, 1 from home
Location: North West London
Pay: £50,000 - £60,000
