We are delighted to be working with this innovative law firm to recruit a Corporate Associate for their growing practice.
This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified legal professional either returning to work from a career break, or seeking to continue their career with a greater degree of flexibility and without the pressure and targets that are typical of a more traditional practice environment.
Supporting the Partner and Junior Partner, you will work on a range of transactional and advisory corporate matters, typically in corporate investments and divestments as well as shareholder and funding agreements. The work includes M&A, share and asset sales and disposals, shareholder arrangements, exit strategies, options, joint ventures and investment arrangements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting on a wide range of specialist corporate matters (including advising on company and group reorganisations and corporate structures, advising on debt and equity funding arrangements including loading finance for companies)
- Setting up and managing data rooms and due diligence process for M&A deals
- Managing your own caseload
- Undertaking due diligence
- Working closely as part of a small team
- Liaising with clients and other professionals
About you:
- You are a qualified lawyer, ideally with corporate experience
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are a superb relationship builder who enjoys working within a small team
- You are organised and can manage your own time

Flexibility: 20 - 30 hours per week
Location: Remote first although you will need to sometimes be available to come into the office in the City of London
Salary: commensurate with experience + discretionary bonus
